Our Mission: To integrate the
arts into the fabric of life in the community served. The
organization’s purpose is to increase awareness, appreciation and
support of the arts in the Lewiston Auburn (Maine) area. L/A Arts is a
501(c)3 not-for-profit organization
L/A Arts presents a performance series
throughout the year which includes live performing arts events in
music and family entertainment. L/A Arts also collaborates with local
educational institutions and community organizations, facilitating
artist residencies, workshops, and other arts events. In addition, L/A
Arts presents the visual arts in various community outlets including
two galleries, Gallery 5and the Community Gallery, where artwork is
displayed and offered for sale.
