about the
artist
A native of Westerly, RI, recently
relocated to Lewiston last year to work at the Colisee as the Business
Manager. Previously spent time living in Massachusetts, Virginia, and
Georgia, but most recently traveling the globe for 6 years with Feld
Entertainment, the producers of Disney on Ice, Disney Live!, and the
Ringling Brothers Barnum & Bailey Circus.
I feel very fortunate to have been
able to have a career where I was traveling the world and experiencing
different cultures, and seeing so many visual masterpieces! The last few
years had brought me to Southeast Asia, Australia, New Zealand, South
America, and across Europe. You absolutely have to take thousands of
pictures when you see so much, to try to capture the images, save them,
bring them home with you, and share them. I’ve waited hours to get the
picture I wanted, and other times it instantly appears in front of me.
Everyone is capable of great photos and my tricks are simple: lots of
patience, LOTS of film (I am currently dragging my feet to switch to
digital), and lots of imagination.
Most of my photos are of recognizable
landmarks and sites from my working travels, many from unique
perspectives. You may have seen the sites on your own or in other
pictures, but maybe not as I’ve captured . . .

the Eiffel tower getting lost as
you peer down the narrow Parisian streets |

the foggy, partially flooded St.
Mark’s Square playing host to it’s famed pigeons. |

the cold Bridge of Sighs stretching
across the Rio di Palazzo on a dreary day in Venice |

the intricate underside of the
formidable Arc de Triomphe, which may go unnoticed by some of its
visitors, but is clear within the black and white print . . . |

the sun casting shadows over the
clouds from a coveted window seat |

the angles of the Louvre under the
great contrasting curve of an archway |

the carvings on the Pantheon in
Rome clearly illuminated under the moonlit sky |

the colors of an Australian dawn in
Sydney Harbor pop from behind the opera house on a morning ferry
commute |
For
pricing, the 6 smaller ones go for $165 (tax included) and the two larger
ones (Clouds and Sydney) go for $185 (tax included).
